After interviewing a number of attorneys we decided to go with Precision Northwest Litigation for an auto accident claim. Emmanuel was very polite and straightforward with us about our case. He walked us through the whole process step by step and made sure we had realistic expectations about our outcome. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted. Thank you Emmanuel, Jill and Rachel for making this all very easy. Truly appreciate what you did for us.Posted on Google![]()

Professionally i have worked with a large number of law firms and attorneys. Both small and large international firms. After an accident two years ago, which I earnestly tried to settle myself, it became impossible to not engage a good attorney. I have found that Emmanuel Miller, ESQ.has been exceptional in every way. He does his homework, stays calm, very knowledgeable in his field and is very honest. It is not often that one can write a review and feel confident about their recommendation, that is not the case here.Posted on Google![]()

I'd give 4.5 for a headache outside the firm's control but one I wasn't notified of until I became irate and worked my way up. However I still give 4.5 stars. Brian and Kathleen were both fantastic for my probate case, replies and instructions were prompt and available. Brian and Kathleen both did a great job explaining to me, an Idaho resident, how Oregon probate works. Which is a much different and longer process than Idaho's. Aside a couple minor hiccups due to state lines everything was smooth and painless. Zero problems recommending Brian Beck of Miller and Hopp for probate cases and anything else he practices in.Posted on Google![]()

How an Oregon injury claim moves from the first call to a resolution
Investigation first, then your medical records, then a demand package built the way a trial exhibit is built. Most cases settle once the insurer sees that file; the ones that do not, we try. The personal injury page walks through each stage in plain Oregon terms, and the FAQs answer the questions people ask on the first call.
What to do in the first week after a crash in Central Oregon
Get treated and keep every appointment, open your PIP claim with your own insurer, photograph the vehicles and the scene, and let us handle the calls from the other driver’s adjuster. The full first-week checklist, with the Oregon deadlines that start running on day one, is in the FAQs.
Who we are the right firm for, and who we are not
We take serious injuries in Bend and Central Oregon where the insurer is already pushing back: catastrophic crashes, truck and motorcycle cases, wrongful death, dangerous property and defective products. If that is your situation, call 541-948-8830. If it is not, we will say so on the first call and point you to a firm that fits.
Questions people ask first.
Is Oregon an at-fault state for car crashes?
Yes. In Oregon the driver who caused the crash, and that driver’s insurer, is responsible for the harm. Your own personal injury protection pays the first medical bills regardless of fault, but the larger claim for lost income, future care and pain runs against the at-fault party. Oregon’s modified comparative fault rule (ORS 31.600) reduces a recovery by your share of fault and bars it above 50 percent.
What kinds of injury cases does Precision Litigation Northwest take?
Serious injuries caused by someone else’s carelessness: car, truck, motorcycle and bicycle crashes, pedestrian injuries, falls and other unsafe-property claims, dog bites, defective products, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. We do not handle workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, estate planning or real estate. If your case is outside what we do, we’ll say so on the first call and point you to someone who can help.
Do I need a lawyer if my injuries from the crash seem minor?
Not always, and we’ll tell you if you don’t. Some injuries that feel minor at the scene become surgeries months later, and once you sign a release the claim is closed. A free call costs you nothing and tells you what to watch for. If it is a straightforward property-damage claim, we’ll say so.
How long does Oregon PIP cover my medical bills after a crash?
Every Oregon auto policy carries personal injury protection of at least $15,000 in medical expenses incurred within two years of the injury (ORS 742.520 to 742.524). It pays regardless of fault. When PIP runs out, your health insurance steps in, and the at-fault driver’s insurer is responsible in the end. We track what PIP paid so any reimbursement is handled correctly. Under ORS 742.536 to 742.544 the PIP carrier can be repaid from your recovery only to the extent you have first been fully compensated, less its share of fees and costs.
What does it mean that you prepare every case for trial?
From the first week we build the file as if a Deschutes County jury will see it: every liable party identified, every policy found, records and witnesses locked down. Insurers price a claim on the chance it goes to trial. A case that is ready to be tried is worth more at the settlement table, and we settle only when the number reflects that.
Where is your office, and do you handle cases outside Bend?
Our office is at 745 NW Mount Washington Drive, Suite 300, in Bend, ten minutes from the Deschutes County Circuit Court. We represent people across Central Oregon, including Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, La Pine, Prineville and Madras, and take serious-injury cases anywhere in the state. If you can’t travel, phone and video work from anywhere. Call 541-948-8830 for a free consultation.
